This is my beautiful niece, Andelyn.. Although we hardly ever see her, because she lives in California, we LOVE and MISS her SO MUCH!! SHe is so PRECIOUS and cute, I just smile when I think about her! We love and miss you Andelyn! I was thinking of you because your daddy is here visiting! He loves and misses you!

We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet

As I was sitting here listening to the ksl report on President Hinckley, I wanted to write a journal entry of the love I have for President Gordon B. Hinckley, and I couldn't think of a journal I could write it in (I will purchase one tomorrow), so I decided to type up my journal entry here on our blogspot.. I love our prophet Gordon B. Hinckley and I know that he was called of God to lead our church in this day. I have so much love and respect for him, and I have learned so much from him as a Prophet and President of our church. I know that he lives and I know that he is now with our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ and where he is still serving those that have passed on. I know that he is happy to be reunited with his wife, Marjorie, but he will be greatly missed here on earth. I am so thankful to have lived on this earth while he served as the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm so thankful for his example of unconditional love and CHARITY, which is the pure love of Christ. I'm thankful for his example of service and losing himself in the work of the Lord. I'm thankful for his example of humility and love. I just love him SO MUCH and I'm so thankful for all he's done for me and for my testimony of this Gospel. Thank you for all that you've done and taught us. "Til we meet again"

Starring... CY!!!

This is a video I stumbled upon as I was organizing my files, and I just LOVE it!! We did this video back around Thanksgiving, so Cy was almost 8 months old... He was showing all his new tricks.. which are, pat and getting ready to throw a football, Give UMA's (kisses in Tongan) and Pasi Pasi (clap in Tongan).. We love Cy so much and we just think he is the sweetest and smartest kid (as all mom's think their kids are) EVER!!

ODE TO HALE CENTER THEATER!!

We have a FUN family tradition on the Pinckney side that we go and see the "Christmas Carol" every year for Christmas. Well, this is the LAST year that the play was shown at the original Hale Center Theater, so I thought it would only be fair to take some last shots.. They are building a "bigger & better" theater, which will be nice, but I will miss the comfortable setting of this humble theater. Thank you to Connie & George for this tradition, we look forward to it every year!!

Cy - 6 Months

These are some of the pics we got of Cy when he was 6 months old... I am a procrastinating mom, and FINALLY got him some professional photos done at this age.. I know, I'm a little late, better late then never, right? hehe.. WE are quite pleased with the way they turned out! I think he is the CUTEST baby around, but I am a LITTLE biased, being his mom and all. hehe.. We just love Cy SO MUCH! HE is our pride & joy!! Love you little man!!

Our New Year was FUN and eventful! We spent our new years eve & into the New Year at Jon & Tasha's house, eating, playing games, banging pots & pans, etc.. It was a lot of fun! :) Cy stayed up til 4:00, probably not the BEST example, but it's only once a year!
