HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYA LONI!!

It is Mya's 1st birthday!! I can't believe it's already been a year! Mya is our PRINCESS!! She is such a little sweetheart!! You can't be around Mya and NOT smile and laugh at her! She is so funnny!! She is SO SMART and has already been talking to us! haha.. She NEVER STOPS talking! lol.. One of her favorite things is pretending to be talking on the phone, and that girl is a BLABBER!! haha.. She has ALREADY picked up on some attitude! lol.. She is a DIVA for sure! Cy LOVES his little cousin Mya.. He always wants to hold her and kiss her! I don't wanna hog Mya DAY.. I will leave the rest for her mom to post! ;) Mya, I hope you know how much we all LOVE you!! I KNOW how blessed we are to have you in our lives!!

THE HILLS

Random post of one of my guilty pleasures.... I'm sorry, but I need to vent a little about one of Collin and mines favorite tv shows "The Hills" (The other being "Lost")... haha.. Sorry to put you on blast like that, babe.. lol.. It's ok to like the Hills! HOW are they going to STILL have a Hills with Audrina and Lauren missing?? I mean, COME ON!! LC is the DICTATOR of the show.. HELLO!! There are only 2 episodes left for this season *tear* and then we say GOODBYE to Audrina, LC & possibly Spencer and Heidi?? Let's admit that those few are the REASON we are hooked on this show!! Whitney has been long gone, pretty much, since she got her own show (which I could care less about, no offense).. So here you got the gang, minus Whitney and PLUS Spencer, Brody, Lo & Stephanie..
Lauren - LOVE HER!! She is the REASON this show exists.. She works as a dictator / therapist for all the members of The Hills. I wish she would find love, I was thinking she could be the next Bachelorette?? She seems like a genuine friend, we are going to miss her!
Audrina - Mixed feelings about her.. I use to LOVE her, but she has changed a little over time. I don't quite know what to think of Audrina anymore.. She can't get over this ON/OFF thing with Justin Bobby, but he is kinda worthless!! She needs to get over the "bad boy" thing already! I still haven't figured out if she is EMO or FASHION girl. Her style changes every episode. I heard she is going to have her own show.. That will be interesting.

Spencer and Heidi.. These 2 are outta control!! Let's see.. this will be THREE Speidi weddings?? How much more attention do you 2 need? Honestly!! And you CANNOT tell me that proposal last night (Monday) was NOT staged!! As much as you wanna hate these 2, you can't help not LOVE THEM!! haha.. Question.. Does Spencer have a REAL job? Just wondering.. I don't think I ever see him anywhere but his couch "twittering" (or texting Stacie?)... haha..
BRODY, BRODY, BRODY.. Where do I start? Brody has been my FAVORITE character (and I say character, because there is NO WAY it's ALL "reality") since day 1 UNTIL JAYDE came along!! ugh.. Seriously, where did his priorities go once she came into the picture?? WHO is she and WHERE did she come from? I have always secretly wanted Brody and LC to end up together! :( Oh well.. Maybe in the FAR FUTURE of REAL life instead of "REALITY TV"
I think they are slowly trying to get us to like Lo.. I didn't care for her back when she was all territorial over Lauren, but I think she might be growing on me. (I'm still ALL FOR Team Audrina). I guess they need to create some other "major" characters, since LC and Audrina will be gone, so I guess we are slowly starting to see more of Lo.. It's ok, I can try to handle watching her a bit more.
OH STEPHANIE!! Where did your brain go? Do they TELL her to act like she has NO Common sense at all, or do you REALLY THINK she is that ignorant? NOTHING she says makes any sense, or has anything to do with ANYTHING or ANYONE!!! WOW, I loose brain cells by the minute everytime she talks! haha..
WOW, thanks for letting me vent! I feel a lot better now.. lol.. Please feel free to leave your comments if you are also a HILLS fan!

IT's a GIRL!!

Most of you might already know this, and if you have SEEN me then you know for SURE!! haha.. Collin and I are expecting a baby girl come September! We are SO EXCITED and can't wait for the addition to our family. WE feel so blessed to be having another baby. I waited awhile to spill the beans, it was funner that way and mixed things up a bit this time! ;) We have decided to name her C.C. after my mother, Cindy and Collin's mom, Connie..

COLLIN GRADUATED!!

I am SO PROUD of Collin for pushing through and GRADUATING!! I know how hard it has been to go to school full-time and work full-time, but he has done it this last little bit and is DONE (for now).. Collin graduated from UVU on May 1st with his Bachelors in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.. I KNOW he will be GREAT at whatever he chooses to do, because he is a go getter FOR SURE!! Collin, I am SO PROUD of you, and I know it will all pay off someday! ;) I LOVE YOU!

CY's BIRTHDAY AND EASTER!!

I know I'm a little late, but better late than never, right?? Cy had a very fun birthday!! He first got to celebrate it with the Hayward side on the ACTUAL DAY with his cousin Brantz.. Cy and Brantz share the same birthday and that was a special day for Brantz, because he got baptised!! It was so sweet of Brantz to share his special day with Cy, and include him on his birthday cake! :) Thanks Brantzy.. The next day we had a Tuaileva-Pinckney family party for Cy.. He is a spoiled little boy, that's for sure!! I think he got everything he would have wanted and MORE!! Thank you so much to everyone for making Cy's birthday so special!! We are blessed to have you all in his life, and I'm so grateful for the love and support you are constantly giving us and especially CY!

Funny story... We had a "BLUES CLUES" pinata for our little party, and Cy wouldn't hit it!! He was crying and I held him and said, "you need to hit blue with the bat" and he said, "No, he's my friend" SO CUTE!!

Cy got many gifts at his party that he loves, but I think his favorite was his new bike and Spiderman helmet that Uncle Jon's family got for him!! He was ECSTATIC!! Thanks!!

Cy has figured out the Easter Egg hunt thing.. He started out throwing them like balls, but then he figured they contain CANDY!! HIS FAVORITE!! It was all over from there!

We went to Walmart to visit Gramma Gerrie, and took a pic with the Easter bunny!! Cy LOVED the Easter bunny!! He kept going back and giving him hugs!! haha.. I have YET to find out what it's like to have him not like Santa or Easter bunny, etc.. He seems to like them all so far!!

CY’s 2 year UPDATE..

PARROT – Cy will copy anything and EVERYTHING everyone says! It’s cute, but also can be very scary! Haha.. We have to watch what we say, for sure. He speaks so well now!! He says sentences and half the time I’m the only one that understands most of what he is saying, but he talks up a storm!

PICKY EATER – This kid is the PICKIEST eater EVER!! His 4 basic food groups are Seimini (Top Ramen), Pizza, French Fries and cookies!! Healthy, I know! He will have an occasional apple or banana, but dislikes veggies and MEAT at the moment!! MEAT? Weird, hu? Don’t ask me how he is such a TANK, he hardly eats!! He really likes the SOUP from PF Changs! haha..

Cy usually gets to make a mess when he eats at home.. and No, he won't wear a bib! haha..

• BASKETBALL! BASKETBALL! And MORE BASKETBALL!! Cy can sit and play basketball ALL DAY LONG!! He LOVES it when he has an audience to clap for him when he makes a shot.. He always says “Shoot it like Kobe” haha.. Wonder who taught him that? He doesn’t like the basketball hoop to be at his level or anywhere NEAR it.. He likes it to be at the HIGHEST level, and if it isn’t he says, “HIGHER” until it’s at the top level!! He’s actually really good at it, but I’m sure it’s because he plays 24/7

ARTIST – Cy is a little artist! He LOVES to draw, color, paint, etc.. He wants to draw all the time! Anytime anyone is writing anything, he says, “Cy draw” (yes, my son speaks in 3rd person at times).. haha.. He is actually a really good drawer! He draws all different things from lines to circles.. He LOVES to draw!! He gets that from his creative Connie side! ;) Sometimes when Joe is doing his homework he will say, “I wanna draw, it my homework” haha.. He likes to pretend to do homework like Uncle Joe.

• TRIPLE THREAT – Cy has for SURE gotten some singing, dancing and acting skills from both his Uncle Jaymz and Uncle Joe!! This kid will dance to ANYTHING as long as it has a beat! Haha.. He also LOVES to sing!! He is singing anytime he isn’t talking! He picks up on lyrics very quick and will walk around the house singing songs he learned in nursery or heard on the radio. His favorite right now (as much as Collin hates to admit) is Hannah Montana!! Haha.. Anytime we get in the car he says, “Mommy, I wanna Montana” haha.. So I have to put on the song “Best of both worlds” then he says, "Turn it UP" and he just sings along to it.. He knows every word! Haha.. Cy knows that we don’t get to listen to it if daddy is in the car! LOL…

• BLUES CLUES – Cy STILL loves to watch Blues Clues! I think that’s part of the reason he loves to draw.. He has a notebook that he carries around and puts his pencil in the spiral side when he isn’t using it (like Steve does on Blues Clues).. We can get Cy to calm down from ANY state if we mention Blues Clues! Haha.. He would really watch that show for HOURS at a time if we let him!!
  


• “MINE” – As much as I don’t like that word “mine” – I think it’s so cute (for now) when Cy thinks that EVERYTHING is his!! Haha… That’s his latest thing.. Gramma will be wearing her glasses and he will say, “Those my glasses” and then put out his hand for her to give them to him. Cy LOVES wearing gramma's glasses. The other day we were outside and he tells me, “mommy – you see my garden?” haha.. I said, “that’s gramma and grandpas garden” and he was a little upset about that.. he said, “No, dat CY’S garden” So, pretty much everything he sees he owns! Haha..

Cy is a good helper! He loves to help gramma in the garden!!

• BOOKS – Cy LOVES to read!! He has his favorites at the moment, “Monkey Tumbles”, “Wacky Wednesday”, and “Goodnight Moon” – those are ones he pretty much has memorized, but he will sit with me to read ANY book!! He also loves puzzles! He hasn’t quite mastered them yet, but he likes to take them apart and try to put them back together with my help.

• OUTSIDE – Cy LOVES to be outside!! It was really warm for awhile, and he was outside everyday with gramma for HOURS!! His favorite thing to do is “Bouncy bouncy” which is jumping on the tramp! It took him half a day to figure the tramp out! He didn’t quite get the jumping technique down right away.. We would really have to bribe him with something to come back inside as it was getting dark or cold. Poor Cy was really confused when all of the sudden it was too COLD to go outside! He would ask EVERYONE in sight if they would take him outside and he always got the same answer, “No Cy, it’s too cold” til finally he started saying, “NOT TOO COLD – Bouncy Bouncy!” It will be nice to let Cy play outside when it warms up again!

• SWIMMING – Cy loves to swim! We hardly ever go because I’m a little disgusted at indoor swimming pools, but we stayed at a hotel in SLC for my birthday and brought Cy up to go swimming and he LOVED it!! He loves to swim! He didn’t even want us to hold him! He thought he could just swim all by himself.. Umm.. NOT YET buddy! I can’t wait to get him into lessons – he will love it! He likes to pretend he is swimming when he takes baths.. It’s so funny. He is ALL OVER the place in the bath tub and makes the BIGGEST mess because he thinks he’s “swimming”! Haha..

• CLIMBER – Cy climbs on EVERYTHING!! I’m surprised he hasn’t had more accidents **knock on wood** because he LOVES to climb on chairs, tables and couches and JUMP! He likes to jump on them like he is jumping on the tramp.. When he climbs on big chairs he doesn’t just climb on the seat part, he likes to climb on the HIGHEST part of the chair and straddle it til he almost falls off!! Scares the crap out of me, but he hardly ever falls, which is good.. he must have good balance! ;) Once again, **knock on wood**
  
• BLOCKS - Cy has been really into building little houses with his BLOCKS lately.. He likes to build a little "house" and stand inside of it and then knock it down like a MONSTER!
  

That's all I can think of for now.. Cy can sing almost every nursery song. He can count to 14 (random number, I know) and sing his ABC's. He can also ALMOST recite the 1st Article of Faith. We are so proud of you, son! We love you SO MUCH and you are such a good boy and you bring so much JOY to our lives!! We love you little man! Happy Birthday! :)
