BOYZ II MEN - ABC - BBD - MM HMM

WOW.. I went to one of the BEST concerts in my life last night!! (2nd best next to Janet) Yes, I AM an R&B Junkie and Yes, I DID go to the BOYZ II MEN concert last night at the Scera Shell!! FUN FUN FUN!! WOW, I defenitely went down memory lane with those songs.. talk about Flashback Central!! They played all the classics, as well as some MOTOWN Classics!! It was AMAZING!! They were minus 1, but still AMAZING and still sounded the same!!

This was officially Cy's 1st concert and he was a TROOPER!! He started out singing and dancing when the "pre-show" was on.. and then.. as you can see.. he started fading. haha.. and during the concert he fell asleep on my dad's shoulder, so my dad and Cy decided to take a nap mid-concert! haha..

YES, we made it a family affair.. haha.. it was SO MUCH FUN!! All the girls were there in our family (minus Tasha :( .. We missed you Tash!!).. Blake, Collin, Cy, Shane and my mom & dad!!





When they sang "Mama" - they had everyone call their moms and have her listen to the song and dedicate it to them.. well, my mom was THERE, so that was easy, we all just turned around and sang the "Mama" song to our mom!! We love you mom!!

"THE HILLS" IS BACK!!

I NEVER thought I would get stuck on a show like this! haha.. I wasn't much of a "Laguna Beach" fan, so I'm not following Lauren for any reason besides the fact that it's PURE DRAMA and I LOVE IT! haha... So, Collin got hooked LAST season (don't tell that I told on him for being a Hills fan) and then got ME HOOKED, so we are on our second season of being "The Hills" watchers!! Although, we HAVE watched every season since we got hooked, so that we could get caught up.. Tonight (MTV 11:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time) is the 2nd episode of Season 4. Here are my thoughts thus far.. Where do I start?? Lo is a HATER, My favorites are Audrina (and Justin Bobby, of course) and Brody (hasn't made a cameo this season YET)!! Spencer and Heidi are acting 99.9% of the time - there is NOTHING real in that relationship.. They are the ones that bug the MOST, but also the ones that keep the show alive.. they are like a really BAD ACCIDENT.. You KNOW you shouldn't be looking, but that you can't help NOT looking!! LC is cool.... I like her, she is the REASON "The Hills" exists!! However, she needs to put Lo in check.. Whitney.. why is Whitney on the show?.. Stephanie is on the show because she is Spencer's sister (and Lauren's new BFF.. for NOW), and I can see from previews that she is gonna be DRAMA from start to end!! I can't wait!! Please comment if you are also a HILLS watcher! I would LOVE to hear your 2 cents!

CY & PAPA

Cy LOVES his papa!! Papa will play with Cy anytime - Anywhere!! Cy even happens to interrupt him while he is eating, sleeping, on the phone, whatever, and my dad will ALWAYS stop what he is doing, and play with Cy!! One of their favorite things to do together is play music and dance.. Papa plays the Uke and Cy dances along to it!! (see Video - pause my playlist so you can hear it) Cy doesn't want to play with ANYONE but Papa when he is around.. he just follows papa wherever he goes! haha.. I LOVE IT!! They are so precious together!!! Thanks for loving Cy so much, dad!! We love you!

OUR TRIP!! NJ-NY-CT

Prepare yourself.. This is a LONG post!! haha..

We had SO MUCH FUN out in New Jersey / New York / Connecticut!! We would like to thank all our friends and family that welcomed us with open arms... Jon & Tasha (and kids.. Jace, Jojo & Mya), Jojo, Joumana (and kids.. T.J., Miah & Jazzy) & Traci & Brandon (and kids.. Hobie & Piper)!! I wanted to post ALL my pics, but we took TONS!! haha.. We had SO MUCH FUN.. I will try to keep this post as organized as possible, I'm going to try something new with Smilebox .. haha..

K, so.... we got in late Wed night and went to sleep.. Thurs, we lounged around at Jon & Tasha's place, which is VERY NICE!! They have a very nice apt.. we swam, sat around and ate.. That night we went out to dinner at T.G.I.F.'s - no pics.. oops.. haha.. and then spent the night at Joumana's. Cy was in HEAVEN!! K, first of all.. I let him stay up until 4 a.m. (not a good mommy), but he was having SO MUCH FUN!! We all were! haha.. and second of all, he LOVES music and Basketball.. And they had miniature drum set, Mini piano & a miniature basketball court.. Like I said, Cy (and Collin) were in heaven! haha..









Friday.. We slept in (because we stayed up til 4 the night before..) and then swam.. Collin and I attempted to take Cy to the city via train that afternoon and we made it to the 1st stop before the city and we turned around and came back to Jon & Tasha's! haha.. Cy was WAY FUSSY (once again, our fault for letting him stay up so late).. and he was hungry and we were all tired, so we didn't feel like trying to battle him in the city.. So, we had a nice train ride for nothing. Anyways, that NIGHT, Tasha, Joumana & I went to see "Wicked" (THANK YOU Joumana).. I have to say A++.. it was the GREATEST Broadway show I have EVER SEEN!! I HIGHLY recommend it.. and It's coming to Utah in the Spring, in case you didn't know already! ;)

SATURDAY we drove up to Connecticut to see Collin's sister, Traci, and her family! They are SO SWEET!! Traci, Brandon, Hobie & Piper. They took us to this restaurant named, "Fugi" a hibachi place, and it was YUMMY!! SO COOL! We then ate at Dairy Queen!! MY FAVORITE!! Thanks Bailey family!! We LOVED seeing you guys!! Love You!!

SUNDAY was our CITY DAY!! I LOVE New York City!! I LOVE the energy! However, it's VERY different with a child.. haha.. I could SEE a lot more when I lived there, back in my single days.. This time, I couldn't really LOOK AROUND as much! haha... It's ok.. Cy kept us on our feet!! Thanks to our new friends, we rode in a stretch Escalade, which the Kids (and adults.. hehe..) LOVED!! haha... So, we went to H&M and got some clothes for Cy.. We went to the NBA Store, which Cy and COLLIN quite enjoyed themselves at, we then went to a restaurant called, "MARS 2112" - VERY COOL!! You take a trip to your tables in a SPACESHIP! haha.. IT was a lot of fun! Aliens walk around while you are eating, and they even dance! haha... We ended the night PERFECTLY with a yogurt/frozen yogurt from PinkBerries.. Ever heard of it? I guess it's only a NYC place, but it was YUMMY!! SO YUMMY!! I'm glad I got to experience it! :)

MONDAY was the Yankees game.. Need I say more? (Last season playing on old field)... Very sad..

Anyways, we love you guys!! WE are SO HAPPY that we got to come visit! I LOVED being with my namesake, Mya Loni.. She is SO SWEET and SO PRECIOUS!! Thank you for letting me spend time with her! We miss you guys..

We also need to thank our new friends, Joumana, T.J., Miah & Jazzy for the fun time we had with them!! They are so SWEET and we are so glad we got to make new friends while we were out there!! Love you guys!!

MY CY

I am not good at keeping a journal, (I don't).. so I need to type down my thoughts about Cy at this moment, before I forget.. Cy makes me laugh EVERYDAY! He is such a funny kid.. My sisters, Lachelle & Laurel have been staying with us, because my parents are in Hawaii.. So, they have been sleeping on a blowup mattress in our room, next to our bed. Cy was CRACKING US UP last night.. I'm guilty of still having Cy sleep in our bed, for a couple reasons.. 1- because he sleeps for like 12 hours straight, 2- because he loves to cuddle, and in return, we love to cuddle with him, 3- I can't do the "cry it out" thing.. I'm a SUCKER for Cy when he cries.. I wanna do everything in my power to stop him from crying.. and 4 - because he makes us LAUGH at night!! He is the FUNNIEST kid when he is SUPER TIRED!! haha... I'm laughing just thinking about him!! HE will do the funniest things right before he falls asleep.. He BLABS!! .. He just starts talking about nothing! He will start saying words he knows, but slurs them together, so that they make NO SENSE at all!! haha... For example, this was a sentence he was saying last night.. "Mommy daddy mommy mommy baskebowl (basketball) pitha pitha (pizza pizza, and he says it like the Little Cesars guy). And he would stand up behind Collin, so that he could see my sisters and just LAUGH (there was a lamp on in the other room, so he could see them a little) .. haha.. He thought he was so funny.. And I told him "Say nigh night to aunties" and he said "Bye" and then hurried and laid back down.. And RIGHT BEFORE he goes to sleep, he cuddles next to me and says "mommy.. mommy.. Mom.. Mom.." haha... It's SO CUTE how he says it though, because he switches back and forth from "mommy" to a real hard "MOM" if I don't say anything, and then I say "Cy, I love you, Go nigh night" ...... and then he says "mommy mommy" really soft, almost like a whisper, and cuddles right up next to me and goes to sleep. He is such a little sweetheart! I can't imagine our lives without Cy, he truly is a BLESSING and we are SO THANKFUL to be blessed with such an amazing child. We love you Cy! Thank you for blessing our lives with your presence!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON & CONNIE!!

I need to make this post today, since I only get online at work (shh.. don't tell).. and I'm OFF tomorrow!! :) YAY!! It's my brother Jon's birthday and my mother-in-law Connie's birthday on July 4th! Happy BIRTHDAY you two.. These are 2 people that I love SO SO MUCH and I'm so happy that they have blessed us with being in our lives!! It's crazy, because the more I think about it, these 2 are so much alike!! They are both such SELFLESS, GIVING, CHRIST-LIKE people!! They both ADORE Cy, which we are SO grateful for, and they would do anything for ANYONE!! I really do tear up when I think of both Jon & Connie. I love you both SO MUCH and I am SO BLESSED to have you in my life!!

JON...Jon and I have been SUPER CLOSE our entire lives and we made an agreement to name our 1st son/daughter after each other.. which I failed to do (Cy has your last name as his MIDDLE name ;).. But, Jon held up his end of the bargain! haha... (I got the middle name).. Jon and I have ALWAYS been close! We know almost everything about each other and I know that I can go to Jon for anything, as he also knows he can come to me for anything! I am SO PROUD of you for the person you are today! You are an amazing Father & Husband, and I'm so glad you are my brother! Happy Birthday Bro!! I love you!!

CONNIE.. Where do I start? Connie makes ANYONE AND EVERYONE that comes to her house feel WELCOME! There is a warmness about her that you can feel the moment you meet her! Cy LOVES Connie!! She is the grandma everyone wants!! She is ALWAYS there for Cy and he sometimes doesn't want mom or dad, just gramma.. She always knows how to comfort him, or put him to sleep!! Connie has been a LIFE SAVER with Cy! She watches him whenever we ask!! Connie really is one of the most Christ-like and GENUINE people I know!! Thank you SO MUCH for your great example to me of how a wife and mother should be!! Thank you for being in our lives!! We love you SO MUCH!! Have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
